Welcome to the Whitman County Broadband Action Team (BAT) webpage. The Whitman County BAT is a collaborative group working to expand broadband service, communicate with county stakeholders about broadband needs and opportunities and enhance broadband use to improve the quality of life for all who live in and visit Whitman County.

Our member organizations include Avista Utilities, Colfax School District, Community Action Center, Town of Malden, Partners for Rural WA-Eastern Region, the Port of Whitman County, Pullman Public Schools, Washington State University Whitman County Extension, Whitman County, and the Whitman County Rural Library District. We are always looking to add member organizations that have a goal of expanding broadband access in Whitman County.

Please visit the newly released FCC National Broadband Map webpage, locate your home, and verify that the coverage information is accurate. Share this with your communities to help illustrate Whitman County's need for increased broadband coverage!

Meetings are scheduled every third Monday of the month from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Join us!
