Port To Hold Hearing on Proposed Surplus of Undeveloped Lot in Pullman Industrial Park

Commissioners will consider declaring the lot surplus, allowing for its sale

COLFAX — The Port of Whitman County will hold a public hearing 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, to consider declaring an undeveloped lot within Pullman Industrial Park surplus to the Port’s needs.

The hearing will take place in-person at the Port’s Colfax office, 302 N. Mill Street, and by Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86590903284.

Lot 9 is located within the Pullman Industrial Park Subdivision 2, southeast of the Port-owned Henley Court facility, 1300 NE Henley Court, in Pullman.

Declaring the lot surplus to the Port’s needs would allow for its sale. Merry Cellars Winery has proposed purchasing Lot 9, adjacent to its current facility in Henley Court, for $345,000. The proposed use is development of a 16,000 square-foot building for wine production, aging, storage and sales.
