Fly In – or Drive In – to POWBAC on Saturday for Aircraft Showcase

The annual Colfax Fly-In and Pancake Breakfast takes off 8 a.m. Saturday, September 25, at the Port of Whitman Business Air Center, 707 Flight Line Drive, in Colfax. It is hosted by the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 328 of Lewiston, Idaho.

The free, family-friendly event features all types of aircraft displays – from experimental to antique, a civil air patrol flight simulation, classic car show and airplane rides. In addition, the Colfax Rotary Club will be serving up a pancake, sausage and scrambled egg breakfast for $8 per person.

Below is the schedule of events:

8 a.m. – Fly-in and displays begin*

*Parking is reserved on apron adjacent to 707 Flight Line Drive for pilots to display their airplanes to the public. The apron is closed to aircraft movement from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to allow attendees to select the People’s Choice awardee.

8 a.m. – 10 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast by Colfax Rotary Club

10:30 a.m. – Presentations for People’s Choice Aircraft, Longest Distance Flown and Oldest and Youngest Pilots to Fly In

12 p.m. – Washington Flying Farmers Meeting
