Media Advisory: Boyer Park Dock Project Ribbon Cutting Event

Ribbon cutting will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, in front of the marina at Boyer Park, 1753 Granite Road, in Colfax

The Port of Whitman County is pleased to host a ribbon cutting event to celebrate the newly modernized marina at Boyer Park, 1753 Granite Road in Colfax. The Port recently completed its long-term project to replace and rehabilitate the marina’s original 1975 docks. The project was funded by a $1 million grant from the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Funding Board and $5 million in matching funds from the Port of Whitman County. The event highlights the project and serves as the official ribbon cutting event. Speakers will include Representative Mary Dye (R – Pomeroy) and officials from the Port of Whitman County, the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office and Boyer Park & Marina KOA.
