500 people signed up to celebrate the Columbia-Snake River System

Colfax (May 14, 2021) — Registration is now closed for the 2021 Snake River Family Festival after a record 500 people signed up to attend the Port of Whitman County’s annual celebration of the Columbia-Snake River System.

Those who have already registered will be able to claim their free ice cream and festival goody bag at Boyer Park & Marina, 1753 Granite Rd, in Colfax through May 31. Festivalgoers simply need to present a digital or printed copy of their ticket at the Boyer Park store. The store is open 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Port of Whitman County would like to thank this year’s attendees for their participation.

“We are grateful for everyone who came out to Boyer Park & Marina this spring to celebrate the river system that is so integral to our economy, energy and quality of life on the Palouse,” said Executive Director Joe Poire. “We look forward to the next festival when we can all gather together again and add live music, free food and vendors back to our event festivities.”
